The perfect winter location! This is a unique opportunity to meet with Interventional Cardiologists from across North America and to learn about new techniques, discuss important issues and the latest controversies.
This symposium will update the internists, cardiologists, IC and CS in the latest developments in the field of interventional cardiology. Didactic presentations, case presentations, workshops and debates. A strong review of different hot topics and recent progress in interventional cardiology. Presentations on evidence-based and practical clinical approaches on diagnosis and treatment by expert faculty. Case presentations from participants and faculty with audience interaction and discussions.

OBJECTIVES
This course is to provide emerging trends and evidence-based practices (from the past 12 months) to provide guideline-driven, contemporary approaches to cardiovascular patient care.
- Identify areas for quality improvement in Interventional Cardiology
- Correctly interpret the coronary physiology (FFR, iFR,) and the other
coronary imaging (IVUS, OCT) to apply in coronary interventions - Identify the best practices in the interventional treatment of STEMI
- Understand the new data about the antiplatelet therapy
- Review the actual indications in Aortic Valve Stenosis percutaneous and surgical
- Review the latest data in coronary intervention for Myocardial Infarction
- Be aware of the “Burn Out” in the medical profession, particularly to the
Interventional Cardiologist - Follow the new tendency in surgical coronary artery revascularization
- Understand and avoid the patient-prosthesis mismatch in the TAVI era
- Review the actual approaches for stenting in percutaneous treatment in coronary
artery disease - Review and apply the recent data on percutaneous mitral repair with the Mitral Clip
