This symposium has been designed for vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists, with a major interest in the diagnosis and management of vascular disease. Panel discussions at the end of each session will emphasize controversies and each day will conclude with a case presentation session, which has been prepared by the faculty. However, registrants are encouraged to bring their own cases for presentation and discussion.
At the conclusion of the symposium, registrants will have covered:
1. Contemporary issues and advances of a variety of vascular diseases, including aortic aneurysms, peripheral arterial and carotid occlusive disease.
2. Latest issues concerning endovascular procedures.
3. Registrants will be able to focus on the management of patients using surgical and endovascular procedures and select the indications for each option during interactive case presentations.
